AN AFTERNOON WITH THE BACK TO THE FUTURE DUO (panel)

Experience an afternoon with the two main actors from Back to the Future, Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The event will take place Sunday, August 22nd from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

When: Sunday, August 22nd from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Queueing starts at 12:30 PM with seating beginning at 1:00 PM. If you miss your level’s seating time you will still be guaranteed a seat in the section you purchased but may need to wait until the other sections finish seating before taking your seat.)

Where: Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001, Main Stage

Tickets: Experience includes a panel with both Back to the Future guests, which will be the only panel they will attend. To be admitted to this event, you must have an Awesome Con ticket valid for Sunday, and a Back to the Future entry ticket (Gold, Silver, or GA).

*Panel tickets and packages that include panel tickets must be exchanged for a wristband prior to 1:00 PM on Sunday. Fans may do this starting at 9:00 AM Sunday, August 22, at Fan Services. All individuals who will be attending the panel MUST be present to pick up the wristband as they will be placed directly on the individual by Awesome Con Staff.

1. Panel tickets and packages that include panel tickets must be exchanged for a physical ticket prior to 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 22nd. Fans may do this starting at 9:00 AM Sunday at Fan Services. All individuals who will be attending the panel MUST be present to pick up the wristband as they will be placed directly on the individual by Awesome Con Staff.

2. All times, packages, and pricing are subject to change at any time.

3. Seating will begin at 1:00 PM and the room will be loaded in the following order: Club Awesome Reserve and Gold level Accessibility, followed by Gold filling in all available seats in the section demarcated GOLD; Silver level Accessibility, followed by Silver filling in all available seats in the section demarcated SILVER; General Admission (GA), filling up all remaining seats outside of the GOLD and SILVER sections.

  • Club Awesome Reserve (CAR) does not need an additional ticket to attend the panel however any additional items will require a purchase.
  • Seats will be reconfigured to non-social distancing formation. More information will be sent to CAR members directly.

4. Those with a VIP Experience package will be emailed their autograph and photo op times from Epic Photo Ops. Children under the age of 3 who accompanied their guardian to the panel and shared a seat may stay with them.

Sorry! This is a special, separate ticketed event and you’ll need either a Club Awesome Reserve membership, a Back to the Future Backstage Pass, or a Gold/Silver/GA seating ticket to gain entry.

As of right now, you will be able to remove your mask as the photographer takes the photo. Guests reserve the right to change any COVID-19 precautions at any time prior to and at the event due to current COVID-19 conditions and comfort level.

For the “An Afternoon With the Back to the Future Duo” panel, all seats will be filled and masks must be worn at all times.

If you are Gold or Silver Level and you miss your seating time, you will still be guaranteed a seat in the section you purchased but may need to wait until the other sections finish seating before taking your seat.

You are welcome to hold their spot prior to load-in. However, once we begin loading the Main Panel Room, your entire party must be present in order to guarantee being seated together.

Yes. Everyone who is older than three will also need a ticket for the Back to the Future Q&A. Children ages 3 and under may sit on your lap.
