Laurels House of Horrors’ make up team will applying using Proaiir’s professional grade airbrush SFX make up. Proaiir is skin safe certified / independently tested, cruelty free, gluten free and vegan.

Proaiir is Alcohol-based makeup is a professional cosmetic product commonly used in theater, film, special effects, and body painting. It is formulated with cosmetic pigments suspended in alcohol rather than oils or waxes. This composition allows the makeup to dry quickly, become waterproof, and remain highly durable under heat, sweat, and friction. Because of these properties, alcohol-based makeup is ideal for long wear, high-definition filming, and realistic special effects such as tattoos, scars, and skin discoloration.

*Avoid using alcohol-based makeup on broken, sensitive, or irritated skin.

Laurel’s House of Horror recommends the following:

  1. Use the proper remover – Specialized alcohol-based makeup removers are recommended. If unavailable, 70–99% isopropyl alcohol can be used sparingly.
  2. Apply gently – Saturate a cotton pad or soft cloth and press lightly onto the skin. Avoid aggressive rubbing.
  3. Wipe in small sections – Allow the remover to break down the makeup before wiping it away.
  4. Cleanse afterward – Wash the skin with a gentle facial or body cleanser to remove residue.
  5. Moisturize – Alcohol can be drying, so apply a hydrating moisturizer or soothing lotion after removal.
