Local Star Wars fan clubs are joining forces with City Dogs and City Kitties for a special fundraising event that brings heroes, villains, and beloved characters together for a cause worth fighting for.

Meet iconic Star Wars characters, snap unforgettable photos, and celebrate the fandom you love; all while helping provide care, shelter, and second chances for local animals in need. Every donation supports rescue efforts that give dogs and cats the hope of a brighter future.

Meet R2-D2 and friends:

The loveable and goofy astromech is ready to meet you! Get to know this brave droid and pose for a photo op as well. R2-D2’s crew along with the Mid-Atlantic Droid and Prop Builders have been hanging out in Watto’s Junkyard, you never know what odds and ends you might find there.

Bunker down with Kyrimorut Clan and see if you have what it takes to sit upon the throne of Mandalore. The Mandalorians are a secretive bunch but may just be willing to invite you into their inner sanctum.

Clash of Sabers:

Join Terrapin Base and learn about their mission of Costuming, Community, and Charity. Get a behind the scenes look at how costumes come together and a rebellion is run.

Star Wars Trivia: Do or Do Not

How deep is your Star Wars knowledge – and what is your alignment? Are you Jedi or Sith? A nightsister, or a guardian of the whills? An astromech or bounty hunting scum? And how sure are you about any of that? Let the gang from the YouTube channel Never Tell Us the Odds put you through your paces in the latest installment of their ongoing trivia competition “Star Wars Trivia: Do or Do Not,” the only con-based Star Wars trivia game where you not only compete against your opponents in the room, but also try to muscle your own onto the NTUO Champion Leaderboard. This is where you prove you are among the best of the best to ever play the game. Come join us – have fun, compete with your fellow fans, and finally confirm the role you were destined to play in a galaxy far, far away. The contest will be individual trivia, not team trivia. In order to play you will need to have a smartphone and we will provide instructions about how to use Kahoot! at the event.

Star Wars Droid Building 101

Star Wars Droid Building 101: Presented by the Mid-Atlantic Droid and Prop Builders.

Do you love Star Wars? Do you love Droids?
Have you ever wondered “How can I build a Droid?”
Well look no further, this panel will give you all the basics.
Including, cost, time, materials and more.
After the presentation we will have time for a Q&A session with some of the builders.

Adult Lightsaber Training

Lightsabers for use in the class will be provided! In the Adult Intro to Lightsaber Choreography class, participants will experience an introductory course to learn the basics of wielding a Lightsaber. Saber Guild’s seasoned members will demonstrate a variety of movements and techniques used when learning lightsaber combat choreography. Along with these skills, participants get acquainted with how to use a stunt Lightsaber, handle it safely, and how to work safely with a partner. Participants will learn three established sets that we use in our regular performances and a Force Move. At the conclusion of this training class, we will create a “show off” opportunity for their Lightsaber training archives.

Star Wars: Crash Course Into the Old Republic

Thousands of years before the Skywalker name was known throughout the Galaxy, there were the incredibly powerful Rakata, a massive Sith Empire, Mandalorian fleets pushing the Republic to the brink, ancient superweapons, and one of the most infamous figures in Star Wars: Revan. Join our panelists for a crash course in nearly 25,000 years of history and a chance to pick their brains. Stick around for discussions from both our Old Republic lore experts and Cosplayers of the Old Republic!

Saber Guild Lightsaber Show Extraganza
