Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Awesome Con Crew! Our Crew is the backbone of this convention, and we appreciate your desire to help make DC’s homegrown comic-con come to life for another year!
Awesome Con takes place during the weekend of June 3 – June 5, 2022 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
All team members will receive a badge good for admission to all three days of the convention.
Please note: Awesome Con Crew will be a paid team, and Crew members will be required to complete employment eligibility documents to be on our team.
All Crew will be paid for their time at Awesome Con, but Awesome Con Crew will need to make their own travel and lodging arrangements. We do not provide Crew with travel and lodging, including parking, for the show.
Crew members must be 18 years of age by the start of the event, Friday, June 3, 2022.
Covid 19 Safety Notice: The Awesome Con team is committed to the safety of our fans, guests, exhibitors, staff and crew. We work closely with the Walter E. Washington Events Team, Public Safety and local Washington DC authorities on our Covid 19 safety plans, and the policies and procedures that go along with that. Accepted Crew members will be receiving specific information on these plans as we get closer to the event.

We will be finalizing our Awesome Con Crew roster by Monday, March 7, 2022 and we will send out statuses to all applicants then. There will be additional questionnaires regarding shift scheduling when we get closer to the convention.
