Joseph Cotsirilos is a Latino and Mediterranean writer/cartoonist who writes stories and comics about racism, xenophobia, and life being LGBTQIA+. His comics are single issues and range between first-person narration and poems. His work has appeared in places like Ashcan Magazine, Aviary, Inter-Connected-Circles, On Verge, and anthologies like Not My Small Diary. Lately, they revolve around Syria and immigration.
He will be selling zines and comics of an upcoming comic book series and is currently working on stories about xenophobia.
He won the Ara Jo Memorial Fund Grant through the Rock Paper Scissors Collective and resides on the West Coast.
