When, Where & What Crew Info

  • Awesome Con takes place during the weekend of June 16 – June 18, 2023 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
  • All team members will receive a badge good for admission to all three days of the convention.
  • Applicants who are selected for Crew are eligible to have a purchased Weekend or Day ticket refunded.

Please note: Awesome Con Crew will be a paid team, and Crew members will be required to complete employment eligibility documents to be on our team.

All Crew will be paid for their time at Awesome Con, but Awesome Con Crew will need to make their own travel and lodging arrangements. We do not provide Crew with travel and lodging, including parking, for the show.

Crew members must be 18 years of age by the start of the event, Friday, June 16, 2023.

Keeping Our Awesome Con Crew Safe

COVID-19 Safety Notice: The Awesome Con team is committed to the safety of our fans, Guests, Exhibitors, Staff and Crew. We continue to work closely with the Walter E. Washington Events Team, Public Safety and local Washington, DC authorities on our COVID-19 safety plans, and the policies and procedures that go along with that. Accepted Crew members will be receiving specific information on these plans as we get closer to the event.

Note: Completion of this Waitlist Availability Survey does not guarantee placement on the team. Waitlist applicants will be reached out to individually if open positions become available.
