S.L. Gallant is an illustrator living in Washington, D.C. and working in the comic industry.
Early in his career, he worked for DC, Chaos, Malibu, and Dark Horse comics. His commercial career had him working at Jordan Associates advertising in Oklahoma City on clients such as Carl’s Jr and Kraft Foods, where he had the chance to draw Cheeseasaurus Rex® and Kool-Aid Man®.
In 2000, Gallant moved to D.C. and started working for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, doing storyboards and presentation illustrations on clients such as the CDC. His last agency job was at Danya International, where he did character design and storyboards for their Jasper & Kiki educational cartoons. While there Gallant started doing work for Marvel Comics and Titan to the point he just had too much work, so now he is full time in the comic industry.
