Eliza Dushku will be appearing at Awesome Con on Saturday, and Sunday. Eliza Dushku will be at Awesome Con until 3:45 PM on Sunday.

Eliza Dushku is an American actress known for her roles as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff series Angel, as well as starring in two Fox series, Tru Calling and Dollhouse. She is also known for her roles in films, including True Lies, The New Guy, Bring It On, Wrong Turn and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, as well as her voice work on video games. Soon, she can be seen in the final season of the Cinemax series Banshee.

Dushku jump-started her career with roles opposite Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in This Boy’s Life and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies. In 1998, she captured attention when she joined the third season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Faith, the new Slayer in town. Though initially planned as a five-episode role, the character became so popular that she recurred throughout the season and returned repeatedly throughout the series and in the spin-off series, Angel.

In 2000, Dushku starred in the hit cheerleader comedy Bring It On. She followed that up with a string of films, including Soul Survivors, The New Guy, and City by the Sea. The same year, Kevin Smith invited Dushku to be a part of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

In 2003, Dushku returned to TV in the role of medical student Tru Davies in the Fox TV series Tru Calling. In 2009, she reteamed with Buffy creator Joss Whedon for sci-fi series Dollhouse. Serving as a producer as well, Dushku took center stage as Echo, one of a group of men and women who could be programmed with memories and skills to engage in particular assignments.

Dushku has had roles in many video games, most notably the role of Yumi Sawamura in the English-language version of Yakuza for the PlayStation 2 and as Shaundi, one of the lead characters in Saints Row 2. Dushku also starred in an online animated “motion comic” series, titled Torchwood: Web of Lies, based on the BBC series’ Torchwood: Miracle Day.

She can next be seen in the upcoming film Eloise, and as Agent Veronica Dawson in Banshee’s final season.
